Our PowerStation Sheffield data is now out of date, but we have accessed the latest information from Ofgem that gives data from 2010 to September 2015.  From this we have calculated the total capacity of renewable energy installations in Sheffield (S) post-codes.  From 2010 – September 2015 10,111 renewable energy installations were registered with Ofgem for the feed-in-tariff. These had a total capacity of 34,311 kW.

Number of kW installed for each technology

  • The total number of solar PV installations was 10,083 with a total capacity of 33,982 kW.
  • There were 3 hydro installations, with a total of 27.9kW
  • 3 micro CHP installations, with a total of 2.9kW

Community installations total 259kW
