Everyone at Sheffield Renewables would like to say a big thank you to all of our investors and supporters and we are pleased to announce that we have managed to raise a huge £210,410 (and counting).
This is a fantastic commitment from people willing to invest in Sheffield’s green future. We have a few major milestones coming up which we are really excited about:
Friday 18th January: Tenders received
We will be receiving tenders back from the shortlisted construction companies with the guideline price for the scheme. This will then be analysed by our Hydro Technical Team which will allow us to validate the costs.
Tuesday 22nd January: AGM
Our AGM will be held on the 22nd where we will update our investors on progress over the last year and set out our plans for the coming months. We are really pleased with what we have achieved in 2012 and know that 2013 will be a really exciting year for Sheffield Renewables.
We have also secured a loan offer of £200k from Resonance and will be securing the remaining loans over the next two months.
Thank you again to all of our investors and supporters; without whom none of this would have been possible. And with income being reinvested in the community for further projects, this is just the beginning…
